There are so many different ways to approach holiday making. You can take the improvisation approach – get to the country and then worry about where to stay. You can take the package deals, just book and leave the rest to someone else. You can get an RV or a caravan, and take a self-contained holiday where you go wherever you fancy. Many of us take a combination of these over the years, picking an approach to suit the time and destination.
Sometimes, though, all you want is to spend the holiday in conditions that feel luxurious. Waited on hand and foot for anything you need. Plenty of room and a lot of comfort. Food that matches the best restaurants. Perhaps most importantly, a little bit of peace and quiet. And it’s good to know that there are places to go to get the best quality accommodation on any holiday you take.
Scandinavia, with good reason, is a popular travel destination for people who like quiet, serene locations. It is also an expensive place to go, unfortunately. Estonia, however, a short hop from Finland, is more affordable and just as peaceful and cool. The capital, Tallinn and other cities such as Tartu are captivatingly beautiful. In addition, staying there won’t break the bank on any budget.
A destination that can fly under the radar due to the relative proximity of Dubai and Qatar. Malaysia has plenty going for it, not least the fact that isn’t the immediate port of call of so many people looking for luxury travel in the region. There’s plenty of luxury to be found here, particularly in the capital Kuala Lumpur. With great deals on modern style 5-star hotel rooms in KL, Malaysia is a place that should be on your list for future holidays.
One of the joys of Chile is that when people think of South America, they think of Brazil and Argentina. This has left Chile as an option that appeals to the fan of unspoilt beauty. It doesn’t mean that the tourist and the traveller aren’t catered to, though. By day, see the wonder of the Atacama desert and in the evening, relax in fine style in one of the wonderful hotels nearby.
Among the many reasons to go to Canada, its diverse natural beauty is something you’ll want to experience again. Take a scenic train trip through the Rocky Mountains. Experience the timeless quiet class of Prince Edward Island. Enjoy the variety of cities, each different from the last. Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver each have their own distinct identities. And a stay in a great hotel won’t leave you penniless.
Some trips positively suit getting down and dirty, and that’s great too. But when you want to experience a new country in the most relaxing style possible, it’s great to have options. By going the route of luxury, you can wake up fully relaxed and ready to go. Don’t deny yourself a touch of opulence once in a while. You’d be surprised how affordable it can be.
