Travel-Inspired Decor for Your Home

Even amid all this craziness, Team ESLT have something to look forward to (we hope), we are moving house. Living in a townhouse in the centre of a lively market town was great when it was just Mr ESLT and me. We could enjoy the pubs, bars and restaurants on offer before a short stumble home. With a small hassle-free garden, 4 double bedrooms and adequate living space for two adults and two cats, it was perfect.

When we decided to adopt we even invested in an extension which created a dining/playspace. It did, however, reduce the aforementioned hassle-free garden to a space no bigger than a yard. Within weeks of the girls joining the team, we realised we had outgrown the house we had called home for 7 years. We, therefore, started looking for the new (and forever) ESLT HQ. We weren’t really in a rush as the girls are still small and we can manage. However, we found the one and fell in love quickly. We are due to move in (COVID-19 permitting) in a couple of weeks or so.

We love travelling (being travel bloggers that’s probably a given) and we have trinkets and knick-knacks adorning our house from all over the world. Therefore, with our new house, we want to continue the travel them, especially for the girl. We don’t know how long travel bans and borders will be in place. Therefore, we want our kids to be surrounded by travel-inspired decor now. This is to ensure that they are familiar with things from different countries and cultures. It’s also to remind us that we too will be able to pick up further trinkets and knick-knacks in the months(?) and years to come.

Therefore we have been scouring the internet for some travel-inspired decor to bring the world to us until we can explore it for ourselves again.
