4 Less-Visited Holiday Destinations On Our Bucket List

Bocas del Toro, Panama

Why travel to the same places that everyone else is visiting? By getting off the beaten path with your travels, you will expose yourself to a wide range of cultures and people. This will open your eyes to the world around you as you experience things that you never thought possible. At least that’s what we think. Therefore, here are four of the less-visited holiday destinations from around the world that are on our bucket list to visit.

Panama

Although this Central American location is best known for the Panama Canal, which Mr ESLT has actually sailed down back in his Merchant Navy days, there is so much more to see and do in this diverse region. The San Blas Islands and Gatun Lake are stunning examples of the beauty of Mother Nature. Some people travel to Panama to invest in land known as “fincas” or even retire here due to the good weather and friendly people. You owe it to yourself to check out more than just the impressive canal while in Panama.

Madagascar

The remote island country of Madagascar is more than just wild monkeys. Although they are a massive reason why we want to visit. This island proudly boasts of its distinction as being one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. This biodiversity makes it an ideal travel destination for wildlife enthusiasts, eco-tourists, and those looking for unique outdoor experiences.

Georgia (Europe)

It’s a fact that Georgia is growing in popularity. However, it still does not rank high as a country on a list of places that most people want to visit. For us, one of the main draws is its remoteness. The welcoming people will make you immediately feel at home. Visitors to Georgia will delight in touring Vardzia, a cave monastery dating all the way back to the 12th century. The capital city of Tbilisi should also be on your itinerary for its famous architecture that exemplifies a host of unique styles, including Persian, Russian and Soviet Modernist buildings.
