The internet is a big old place where you can find almost anything, from the theory of relativity to little travel blogs like mine. I’ll be honest, I spend a lot of time on the internet, Googling and Binging away – sometimes important stuff, sometimes YouTube videos of cats doing crazy (yet cute) things, but most of time it’s just mundane stuff. But then there’s that one time when you click on a page and love what you see, and that’s what happened when I clicked on Made by George.
Made by George belongs to the very talented George Katralis who is a London based artist. He explains ‘I am an Aussie who now lives in London. I grew up having a long distance love affair with England around the same time I spun my first Beatles record, however it was a combined passion for music, art, travel and adventure that brought me here and Made by George was born out of that necessity to create and tell my story through art.
George’s work focuses on:
George has a growing range of travel designs. I personally think that these are a great addition to any home to remind you of a great time you had in a certain place or simply to fuel your wanderlust by hanging pieces showing places you’d love to visit.
If music is more your thing then check out the wide range of pieces dedicated to all things musical. Ideal pieces can be found for your music room or studio or even your bedroom where I’m sure you are the king of rocking out on your air guitar.
Having recently written an article on Destination Weddings, it was George’s personalised wedding piece that really jumped out at me – the beautiful scene depicting Chris & Han’s romantic Greek wedding – what a gorgeous reminder of their most special day! Even if you didn’t get married with the delightful whitewashed buildings of Santorini behind you, not to worry, George can personalise his artwork for any occasion.
George has an array of work starting from £40 and can produce custom-based work, with prices starting from £200 for A3. Personalisation with photos and names can be included on a request basis. Visit www.made-by-george.com for more information. Worldwide shipping available.
- This is NOT a sponsored post. However, I hope to work with George in the near future as I am designing my home office and would love to have one of his pieces to stare at when I have writers block 🙂
