Fathers, daddys, dads, papas, step-dads, adoptive dads, father figures, even grandads – Father’s Day is the day to celebrate them all. Therefore, if you have someone in your life that fits the bill, Sunday 20th June 2021 is the day to show your love, thanks and appreciation. After the year we have all had – lockdowns, social distancing etc there is now light at the end of the tunnel. However, the last 14 months or so have been tough, there is no denying that and you may want to show your dad just how much he means to you. Therefore, why not make this year extra special by celebrating all dads this Father’s Day with Find Me A Gift?
Mr ESLT
I myself now do not have a relationship with my father. However, my girls have the strongest bond possible with theirs – Mr ESLT. When we decided to start our adoption journey, it was a joint decision. This meant we had the love and support of each other to get us through it. It was tough, but we were tougher, especially Mr ESLT. And from the second the girls came into our lives, he was the doting father. Changing nappies, feeding, bathing, reading stories etc he was and still is there for it all. Even when the pandemic hit and the schools and nursery closed meaning they were at home all day, every day with me, he would work a full shift, come home and happily take over parenting duties. It is a year none of us thought we would ever have to live through. But with an absolute rock as a partner and father, Team ESLT not only survived, we thrived.
Father’s Day With Find Me A Gift
This will be Mr ESLT’s 3rd Fathers Day. It is a day we have and always will ensure is all about him. As parent’s, we don’t often get ‘celebrated’. We do what needs to be done willingly to ensure that our children are safe, happy and healthy. We certainly did not take on the responsibility to be thanked for it. However, recognition is always nice. Therefore Father’s Day is an opportunity for the girls to show theirs to their daddy for everything he has done and does. The same way many children, regardless of age, do around the world. Some families may have certain traditions, some may mix it up year on year. However you celebrate the main man/men in your life is special and personal to you, but do you know what? I bet they appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Team ESLT love to give (and obviously receive) gifts on special occasions and Father’s Day is no different. Find Me A Gift is a great option if you are looking for a range of gifts for your loved one(s). They offer a great range of gifts, highlighted, especially for Father’s Day. From personal to funny and even naughty (although probably highly inappropriate for Father’s Day), there is something to suit everyone’s taste and budget. Gifts start at £1.99. Therefore you do not need to break the bank celebrating Father’s Day with Find Me a Gift. However, if you do have the cash to splash then they also offer unique adventures (skydiving, supercar driving etc), foodie experiences and even luxury getaways.
Champagne and Newspaper Giftbox
The girls being the age they are would have simply opted for a chocolate bar as a present in the hope that daddy would share it with them, which of course he would. However, I thought something more substantial and something that he could enjoy himself was more the order for the day. Therefore we opted for the Champagne and Newspaper Giftbox. As Mr ESLT works hard both at work as a Marine Pilot and at home and has for the past year in some of the most unknown times we have ever experienced giving him the gift of being able to unwind was perfect. As we have a hot tub and a garden bar (both COVID purchases to make our time in lockdown more enjoyable), the champagne was an obvious choice. What’s better than chilling out with a glass of fizz?
But the thing that makes this gift all the more special is the newspaper that accompanies the champagne which is certified by Historic Newspapers. You can choose a newspaper from any date that may be important/poignant to your dad. For example the day you were born. I chose a newspaper dated the day the girls moved in with us back in 2019. It is something I wish I had bought at the time for the memory box. Mr ESLT although not outwardly sentimental, will truly appreciate the importance of the date chosen. This is because it was such a significant date in his life and will be forever. It was the day his life changed and he became a daddy!
With this fabulous gift and many others available, why not celebrate your dad this Father’s Day With Find Me A Gift?
