This is where the Tango was invented, and you’ll still see plenty of signs of romantic dancing and actions throughout the city. It’s a city of fun, for sure, one that will ignite the passions. It’s not as overly loved up as other places, but the sheer possibilities of things that can happen in the Big Apple means it has all the potential to be the world’s most romantic city, if you play it right. Take a stroll over the Brooklyn Bridge, spend long hours reading in the park, hit a jazz club in the evening and then retire to your central hotel: love doesn’t get much sweeter than that.

The joy of life that flows through this city is joined by world class restaurants and beautiful boulevards, creating a city that makes partners feel like they’re the only two people in the world. Make sure you take a trip along the Left Bank, which is ripe for lovers to walk arm in arm.

Sydney offers its visitors a little bit of everything, from culture to nightlife and beyond. The city itself is a fine place to spend a romantic weekend, but the true benefit of visiting here for a special romantic getaway is that it’s so easy to get out of the city for a night or two spent at the beach. When you’re in the city, the sheer number of fun outdoor activities and essential visits ensures it’ll be a trip full of fun together. Take a kayaking trip around the harbour and then spend the evening in its most famous attraction, the Sydney Opera House.
