Situated only around a four-hour plane ride from the UK, the islands are known for their beautiful beaches, and great resorts. Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura are top choices in the Canaries. They are warm even in October, so it’s ideal for a late summer’s break.   2. Your story is lovely and it’s nice to meet other couples that love to travel together. My partner and I have travelled to 20 countries together in the 4 years we have known each other and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives seeing the world together. The Algarve has definitely been my favourite European beach spot so far, many more to try though!
