Affordable Islands To Visit In The U.S

Nothing screams luxury quite like a tropical island getaway.  Although travelling overseas, out of the country and long distances isn’t always feasible and can get quite pricey. That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a wonderful, warm island adventure. There are many islands located in the United States that are well worth visiting. From natural waterfalls to laid back beach towns nestled upon history and charm, the options are endless. Here are a few of our favourite islands to visit in the U.S that won’t break the bank but still offer that Caribbean feel

St. Simons Island

Located off the coast of Georgia, St. Simons Island is one of the 4 barrier islands in the area. It is the definition of history, charm, and island life all in one. From the quaint, white sand beaches, to the spectacular tree spirits, you will never want to leave once you experience this place. The vacation rentals are moderately priced, and most importantly, you can drive to this island. If you are looking to fly into the island, you will have to fly into the Brunswick airport, and then cross the causeway to get to the island. Once you have arrived, you will immediately feel the beach vibes.
