We love the Lake District and are lucky enough to have visited at least a dozen times. We have stayed in a range of accommodation from self-catering lodges right through to luxury hotels. Even though we have never had a bad stay in the Lake District, there are 3 hotels we have stayed in that edge above the rest. Why? Because of the incredible meals, we ate while there. For us, after a long day sightseeing and exploring, there is nothing better than going back to our hotel, unwinding with a cheeky G&T and then sampling what the hotel’s restaurant has to offer. Therefore, we have put together our list of 3 fabulous hotels for foodies in The Lake District.
