This 11-mile stretch of road in North Carolina is home to a whopping 318 curves. It is hugely popular with motorcycles and sports cars alike. Along the way, stop and pay homage to those who have fallen before you at the Tree of Shame where you will see parts of bikes hanging from the branches and nailed to the tree.
