Thailand: Great Reasons That Make It An Excellent Travel Destination

When people think of Thailand, they are bound to associate it with the delicious street food, the busy cities, and the fabulous architecture. However, they tend to think that Bangkok is the top place to visit while in the country. While Bangkok is pretty special to say the least, there is so much more going on in Thailand that you might not even know about. Therefore, here are some great reasons that make Thailand an excellent travel destination.

The cost of everything

A lot of people don’t realise how cheap Thailand actually is to visit. In fact, they are often put off by the expensive plane trip over to the country. But once you are there, you will spend very little. In fact you may even bring money back home after the visit. This is because you get a lot for your money when it comes to converting to Thai Baht. In fact, if you have 350 dollars/285 pounds to convert, you can expect over 12,000 Baht to spend in their currency and this can go a long way. When it comes to hotels, you can get a luxurious hotel for cheap and when it comes to shopping and buying food, you will find everything very reasonable. In fact, you can get the same brands as you will find at home in Thailand for a lot cheaper. Therefore, it’s worth taking a large suitcase as you will be packing it to the brim before returning home. So if you want a budget holiday where you won’t spend the earth, it’s worth considering Thailand for a cheap but luxurious holiday!

The amazing beaches

You might not think about beaches when you are thinking of Thailand, but if you want to have a dream beach holiday, it’s worth considering this beautiful country. After all, you will find some of the best beaches located in areas like Phuket. In fact, you can expect postcard perfect glorious white sandy beaches. Therefore, hunt down fantastic accommodation like you can find on VillaSanyanga.com which offers you magnificent sea views and a short walk to the sandy beach. That way, you can sunbathe and take part in watersports to your heart’s content.

The friendly people

It can often be hit or miss whether the people are friendly when travelling. After all, some countries are happier to see tourists than others. But as discussed on http://www.huffingtonpost.com/, you will be blown away by the friendly people who you will encounter while in Thailand. In fact, the staff in the hotels can not do enough for you and they are bound to make your visit extra special while you are in the country. They will offer you a wealth of handy advice, so don’t be afraid to ask for tips!

Awesome wildlife

If you want a holiday where you can see fantastic wildlife and marine life, Thailand would be a top option. With elephants (just please don’t ride them), wild monkeys and tigers, you are bound to have an unforgettable holiday. The sea life is also incredible with sharks, dolphins, and turtles to view while snorkelling!

It is true, Everything in Thai is cheap, the hotel room is huge compare with other countries like Japan and Hongkong with the same price. The food is great too…

Hong Kong is insane compared to Thailand isn’t it? We spent 4 days in Hong Kong in 2015 and spent more then we did in 3 weeks in Thailand. Cost is a big factor when deciding where to visit for a lot of people including us. Yes and the food – yum!
