Christmas Gift Guide 2018: Travel Inspired Homeware

As avid travellers and travel bloggers, we love travelling the world, learning about different cultures, meeting new people, eating new food and seeing amazing things. However, we love nothing more coming home and surrounding ourselves with creature comforts. The internet is full of articles about quitting your jobs, selling your possessions and travelling full time. That has never appealed to Mr ESLT and I. We love living the traditional life – jobs, house, pets etc and being able to spend time with friends and family on a regular basis. Yet still travelling extensively (usually once a month) around the world. As travel is one of our passions, we, of course, bring back souvenirs from our adventures, especially handmade or unique trinkets which we display in our house.

We also have a number of travel inspired accessories in our house, from a beautiful globe and wooden world map in the home office to an intricate Eiffel Tower handmade from twisted metal in our guest bedroom,  that we or friends and family have bought us over the years. In fact, people normally ask us if there is anything travel inspired that we would like for our home when they are thinking about what to buy us for birthday or Christmas presents. Therefore, we have produced this ‘Travel Inspired Homeware Christmas Gift Guide’ highlighting some great travel related stuff.

We have included a lot of items that we personally love and we hope it gives you some inspiration if asking for present yourself or buying one for someone else. Depending on whether you want travel to be the main focus of your decor or just want to add small travel inspired touches we hope we’ve got you covered.

We hope this gift guide has given you some Christmas present inspiration 🙂
