Regime Coconut Quench Review

30 day supply of Regime's Coconut Quench

Just over a month ago I was sent a 30 day supply of Coconut Quench from Regime London. I’ll be honest I was surprised to find capsules in the box rather than a cream. I wasn’t complaining though as I’m not the most reliable person when it comes to applying moisturiser day and night. In fact I have been known to go to bed with a full face of make up which is never good for someone hurtling towards their mid-30s at a scarily rapid rate. Capsules on the other hand I can remember to take and I chose to take mine every morning with a full glass of water.

I don’t have ‘bad’ skin. I’ve never had outbreaks of spots, not even as a teenager although as I’m getting older those dark circles under my eyes are becoming so dark it looks like I’ve gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson and the bags are now becoming suitcases. As a frequent flyer I am starting to notice patches of dryness especially on my forehead which becomes worse following a flight. At the beginning of my 30 day trial I had just got back from Dubai where I had spent a lot of time in the sun, drank a bit too much alcohol and been on two 7 hour flights within a week. I needed rehydrating – perfect timing.

Coconut water is the latest big thing and people rave about the beauty and health benefits it offers and is readily available from supermarkets yet the only time I have had coconut water was fresh from the coconut on a Thai beach. To tell the truth I didn’t really like it and think that’s probably why I have never bothered with it again. Yet each Coconut Quench capsule contains the equivalent of 4000mg of fresh coconut water meaning through the trail I was getting the benefit without having to bear the taste.

As previously mentioned I took the capsule at the same time every day (give or take 30 minutes). My routine throughout the 30 day trial was pretty settled – working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with between 7 and 9 hours sleep a night (I love sleeping, what can I say). I did not change my alcohol or water intake or my diet. I did not suffer from any side effects whilst taking this supplement.

Coconut Quench also contains hyaluronic acid which is reported to help significantly increase skin hydration (facial and whole body) after just 3 weeks of use. Regime also state it helps to improve some of the damage caused by cosmetics making it easier to apply make up. So every week I took a quick snap of my face, make up free and freshly washed – can you see a difference?

I personally felt that my skin felt softer and brighter. I don’t know they have reduced the bags under my eyes. What do you think? During Week 4 of taking the capsules I actually took a return flight from London to Slovakia and my face honestly didn’t feel as dry as it normally does after flying so I’m taking that as a sign that Coconut Quench worked for me. For under £20 (RRP £19.99) for a month’s supply I think it is a worthwhile product to invest in especially if you suffer from dry skin. Or if like me you are a frequent traveller.

  • I was sent a complementary 30 day supply of Regime’s Coconut Quench for review purposes, opinions are honest as always!
